|Ogden Valley Adventures||
Rocky Mountain Goats are common-place at Ben Lomond Peak.
If you know where to look, you'll likely encounter some of the abundant wildlife in and around Ogden Valley. Of course, deer are common and moose can be found along many of the trails, and bird watchers will not be disap pointed. The valley attracts cranes, geese and pelicans during spring. Winter offers Bald Eagles and Snow Geese as well as Elk. All summer, hawks circle overhead and Owls can be spotted hunting. Fox and turkeys are also abundant and (on rare occasion), one may encounter a cougar, coyote or even black bear.
On the top, right picture, Josh has set up a trail camera near Ben Lomond Peak and is rewarded with unique photo of a goat snooping around at night with Ogden city lights in the background.
